Georgia Department of Education The goal of the Department is to work to create an environment in which local schools and systems are empowered to develop policies and programs that meet the educational needs of their students, that support teachers, and that involve parents and communities in the education process.

Georgia State Board of Cosmetology The Board is responsible for reviewing applications, administering examinations, licensing qualified applicants and regulating the professional practice of licensees throughout the state. Applicants for licensure must meet the required educational and training requirements before they are allowed to sit for the practical and written examination.
